The holiday season is fast approaching, and what better way to spend the holidays than by taking a trip to the museum? This year, Fort Pitt will be sponsoring Holidays at the Museums at Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History from December 2 through January 11. To spruce up the season of giving, we will also be giving away one year of free admission to Pittsburgh’s four Carnegie Museums – the Art and Natural History museums, the Science Center, and The Warhol.
The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is an iconic organization within the community, and we are always excited to take part in its sponsorship. In fact, this will be our fifth year sponsoring the event. Holidays at the Museums is a yearly tradition that is a favorite among many. This year’s seasonal display will feature several towering Colorado spruce trees, filled with handcrafted ornaments. In addition, the presentation of two new exhibitions will be premiering, including Silver to Steel: The Modern Designs of Peter Muller-Munk and Jane Haskell’s Modernism: A Pittsburgh Legacy.
